He lifts up the very existence of God with a joyful heart, a boisterous praise, and a lifestyle that is earnest and pure, bringing Glory to God. Bishop Saunders is a native of Philadelphia Pennsylvania, growing up in the Southwest Philadelphia area. He is a graduate of John Bartram High School, seen as a quiet person with leadership qualities and often looked up to as well being one who has had to victoriously overcome many of life challenges. Bishop Saunders is currently attending Drexel University in obtaining both his Masters and Doctoral Degrees with an anticipation completion date of December 2019.
Although his major purpose was to receive a formal education, the Lord was fast at work. His calling was evident in the life of this young man. While singing and traveling with the Widener University Gospel Choir throughout the Tri-State area and Maryland, the Teto Saunders of that day, had unknowingly begun his transformation from one who travels with Godly people, to one who now knows God intimately, surrendering his life to the Lord. In 2000 Bishop Teto T. Saunders aligned himself as a member of Fellowship Tabernacle Church (FTC) under the direction and Pastoral Leadership of the late Apostle Robert M. Taylor, Sr., where he served in many capacities of ministry. While serving as Trustee Board Chairman he received and acknowledged the call of God to preach the gospel. Deciding to make his calling and election sure, he actively participated in the rigid Ministerial Training Program within the Christian Education Department at FTC. Determined to show himself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth, like Christ, Bishop Saunders was able to grow in wisdom and stature, gaining favor with God and man. In 2002, he received licensure as a minister and in 2004 he was ordained and installed as the Pastor and Founder of New Birth Fellowship Tabernacle. Passion and Zeal leads the way toward knowing God on higher ground and deeper levels. In 2006 consecrated to the office of Overseer within The International Covenant Ministry Fellowship governed by Bishop Robert M. Taylor Sr., and 2009 consecrated to the office of Diocesan Bishop within the Church of the Everlasting Kingdom governed by Bishop Doral R. Pulley As it stands now well with the Lord and prophesied into Bishop Saunders life, as of July 11, 2015 he was elevated to the office of Ordinary Bishop, and now and is the Presiding Bishop of New Birth Fellowship Alliance.
